EVA Copolymers

POLYTECH provides various kinds of Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymers are used in extrusion film processes for applications including packaging, surface protection and greenhouse covers, and in photovoltaic cell encapsulation. EVA copolymers are used in molded caps and seals, footwear and car interiors. They are the base polymer in many adhesive resin formulations and in wire and electrical cables compounding.

SBC Polymers

Styrenic block copolymers (SBC) are a class of thermoplastic elastomers – a material that processes like plastic but behaves like rubber. Made from butadiene, styrene and isoprene raw materials, SBC copolymers have a two-phase structure composed of hard polystyrene endblocks and soft rubber midlocks. This helps make SBC compatible with a wide range of polyolefins, styrenics and resins. It also provides the flexibility to handle varying temperatures, high impact resistance, tailored adhesion and property control. POLYTECH provides various grades of SBC polymers such as SIS, SBS, SEBS, SEPS which are widely used into hot melt adhesive, plastic modifiers, films, TPE, TPU, packaging, compounding and asphalt modifiers etc.

FISCHER-TROPSCH WAXES

These synthetic waxes are made in a controlled environment using carbon monoxide and hydrogen as feedstock, producing saturated, straight-chain hydrocarbons of consistently high purity and quality. The very linear molecular structure of the wax results in many desirable properties. State-of-the-art fractionation, micronisation and chemical modification yield a wide range of products with unique physical and chemical characteristics. The product range includes high-melt waxes used as performance additives in many specialty applications, and medium-melt waxes which are used in similar applications to paraffin waxes. POLYTECH provides various grades of FT waxes which widely used into hot melt adhesives (HMA), printing inks and coatings, bitumen modification, polymer processing and polishes and textiles etc.
